The Showcase Design Rebrand

Showcase Design, a family-run business was founded by Chris in 1990 following a tough recession and unfortunate shop closures. But with a strong background in cabinetry and a passion for producing high-quality furniture, a new business venture was born and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
The end of last year brought some big changes for the business including a change of premises and a rebrand. Here, Chris Ezzard, founder and CEO talks about the brand's origins and why it was time for a change.
"Originally our focus lay in designing and producing display boxes and trophy cabinets – hence where the name Showcase originated. Over the years we started to move away from this traditional cabinet and joinery business and started to delve more into the design side and we decided we wanted to exploit and highlight this fact.
I think coming out of the pandemic we felt it was the appropriate time to implement a new initiative and strategy and really reinforce what we do as a company, we felt a rebrand would make clear our business intentions for the future.
A brand routed in gold and brown
As we move forward with the rebranding, routed in gold and brown, we wanted to hold onto the essence of what Showcase represents; the contrast and the opulence that emerges out of the darkness.
With the aim of incorporating more of our design skills through the rebrand; we wanted to obviously have a space that could display our finished designed products and allow individuals from the design and architectural world and potential clients and buyers the opportunity to come in and to see, to touch, to really get up close and personal with the finished products.
With all this in mind, one of our main goals with the rebrand would be to move premises so we could incorporate a fully working warehouse with a display showroom, providing another layer of experience of seeing the work behind the scenes and the finished product in front of your eyes.

What makes us different here at Showcase Design; we go above and beyond with our services. We manufacture our own range of furniture; we also build fitted or free-standing bespoke furniture for interior designers and private clients who appreciate high-quality craftsmanship and we cater to almost all rooms in any property.
More than anything with this rebrand, we wanted to hold onto our core brand values; we are creative, personable, honest, and premium. As a family-run, customer-centric business we pride ourselves on going the extra mile and delivering on every single piece we produce. We take the time to listen to our customers and really understand their needs, we love hearing their ideas and feedback and just collaborating with them in that personable one-on-one space. We provide guidance and support and work together so we can produce luxury tailor-made furniture to suit both their homes and their lifestyles.

From our many years in business, we know our clients need practical and stylish living spaces to match their lifestyle needs. When working with a blank canvas, it can be difficult to imagine and sell this space and the concept behind it to them. But our expert design and manufacturing means that we bring these spaces to life, turning rooms into spaces clients could imagine living in. We do not cut corners or compromise when it comes to our craft, we put everything into turning houses into not only beautiful aesthetics but also functional homes.
